Data deletion request

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from Nawal's systems. It applies whether you are a client business of ours, or an individual who received a WhatsApp reminder sent using Nawal.

How to make a request

  1. Email khalid@getnawal.com.
  2. Use the subject line: Data deletion request.
  3. Include in the message:
    • Your full name.
    • The WhatsApp number associated with the data, in international format (e.g. +9665XXXXXXXX).
    • The name of the business that messaged you, if you received a reminder.

What happens next

  • We acknowledge your request within seven (7) business days.
  • We complete the deletion within thirty (30) days of verifying your identity.
  • We confirm to you in writing once deletion is complete.

Important: if your data was provided to us by a client business (for example, an invoice you owe), that business is the data controller. We will delete our copy and may need to notify them of your request. They may retain their own copy under their legal obligations.

What we may retain

We may keep a minimal record where law requires it — for example accounting or anti-fraud records. We retain the least data possible, for the shortest period possible.
